Interior walls of log cabin are 2x4 stud walls. There were no vertical kits made in the logs for drywall before the stud walls were built. We are wanting to Install drywall on the interior walls that will be perpendicular to the log wall. Do you have any suggestions for what tool to use to make the 3-4” vertical slits in my log walls to be able to insert the drywall?
Most log home builders use a chainsaw.
