West wall of my log cabin has multiple logs with d

West wall of my log cabin has multiple logs with dry rot..and only 12 years old. I suspect the company was not aware of this at the time and no longer around. I have done removal of parts of logs and have installed new half logs. I am getting tired of this routine and considering replacing the west wall with a framed wall. this is a load bearing wall..Ridge pole and purlins rest on it. It is a saddle notch cabin. I am keeping the ends of this wall with the saddle notch area. The ends are fine. Have you heard of this being done? If any and all potentially affected areas are secured and proper jacking methods use I cant see a reason this shouldnt work. Wondering if you have heard of it..thanks..joe Both

I would recommend hiring a structural engineer to look at it, but it can be done.
