QUESTION:  I bought a cabin that is flat logs and mortar on the outside. What do I need to do to clean and/or preserve the outside? Do I pressure wash or stain or seal. Really do not know what to do. Thanks, Blair

ANSWER:  We normally do not stain these old square log homes, unless there is already stain on it.  We normally we just give it a light wash and apply a liberal coat of Shell Guard Concentrate borate solution.
