Hi. I have a log cabin home built in 1993 using square logs cut on the outside to look like clapboard. The bottom half of the home is log cabin and the top is stick. I've had water leaking through the logs into the home. The logs appear and feel wet, but not enough water to drip or create a pool of water on the floor. It primarily leaks when I have driving rain. But also has during gentle rain I have had the home sealed, meaning caulked the large cracks and sealed around the windows and doors. Also stained. The leaking now appears to be worse. I was told that the roof looks to be in good condition, but is missing starter strips and missing some drip edges. The odd thing is that some of the logs appear wet in places on one side of the home. There has been no rain for a week. The logs are wet and I have no idea where the water can be coming from. This is different then what I just described above. I just noticed this last part today. Please help. I'm stumped.

Hard to say without seeing it and then leaks are very hard to fix.
