I have a half log siding home that's been somewhat neglected. It's about 20 years old and the Log Jam chinking is pealing off in areas and the whole things needs re-staining. My question is do I have to take all the old Log Jam chinking off, then stain, then rechink, or can I leave some of the chinking on and stain? Then rechink the missing parts and over the old? Thank you!
Black on outside of log home. I am learning it is an indication of water/moisture. How can it be cleaned up, and stopped?
Can I do corn blasting by myself?
Which do you recommend Deck defense by Perma chink or Defy extreme? Thanks in advance, Richard
I have a log cabin built in 1972. I remodeled the kitchen, and now I would like to move the front door to the peak end of the house. Would that cause any issues??
